ABOUT AFRICAN HAVENS NAMIBIA
African Havens Namibia is a welfare organisation which was established in 2002.
The founding couple were Franz-Josef and Anne Müller who initially registered the organization under the name, Living Water Ministries. In 2006 the name was changed to His People Ministries. Due to the developing connections with
African Havens in South Africa (Carol and David Webb), it was decided in 2017
that the new name should be African Havens Namibia.
The official registration of the welfare organization and the name
"African Havens" took place on 28 June 2022 with
the Ministry of Health and Social Services

Management& Structure
The founding couple, Franz-Josef and Anne Müller, lead the welfare organisation from the beginning (2002) until June 2019. After the founding couple had exited, the welfare was expected to become the task of a new Board of Directors. However, COVID 19 impacted the running of the welfare negatively during the years 2020-2021 and the “new” Board of Directors merely acted as an Interim Board for a transition period of 2 years. The members will serve for a minimum of 2 years and are responsible for the overall management of the organization. After the constitution was updated and the name of the welfare organization changed to African Havens Namibia, a new Board of Directors came into operation/ was appointed. See Board of Directors

Vision & Mission
The vision is to empower and uplift disadvantaged and needy communities and individuals and to improve their standard of living by addressing spiritual, social and physical needs.
